If you are planning a holiday with your dog in Portugal, you should familiarize yourself with the entry requirements in advance. To enter Portugal you need an EU pet passport issued by your veterinarian. This ID contains a precise description of the dog, the name and address of the dog's owner, proof of vaccinations, especially against rabies, which must be dated 30 days ago but must not be older than 1 year, and the chip identification number.
