Beach of Albufeira

Albufeira is surrounded by numerous, wonderful sandy beaches. They are all equally recommended. Wonderful, colorful rock formations, typical of the Albufeira coast, protect the beaches, even in the colder months. Albufeira has a beach for every taste. In summer the main beaches are monitored and offer a variety of water sports, as well as restaurants, fast food outlets and beach bars.

To the east: Praia d’Oura, Praia da Santa Eulalia, Praia da Balaia and Praia da Maria Luisa.
To the west: Praia da Baleeira, the romantic rocky bays São Rafael, Vigia, Coelha and Evaristo.

The rocky bay Praia do Castelo is very popular as a snorkeling area. The conclusion is the wide, flat Praia da Galé, which extends to Armacao de Pera.
