Location
Villa Fillmare is located in western Algarve between the popular holiday resorts of Luz and Lagos. The two very well-equipped apartments are located on a 37000m² plot, in a beautiful, park-like garden with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Approx. 2500m² of the property is a garden containing an assortment of beautiful trees, including , eucalyptus, fig, almond, and olive trees, as well as a lot of flowers. This garden has a special charm.
There is a very little grocery store/supermarket nearby (approx. 1.5km) where you can buy bread and rolls every day.
The next restaurant and grocery store are located in Portelas, which is about 2-3 minutes away by car or in also Lagos.
Everybody who is interested in physical activity has a lot of possibilities in Lagos or Luz: tennis, golf, diving, surfing, …
A lot of cultural sights are also nearby.
In only about 6-10 minutes by car you can reach the popular beach resorts of Lagos or Luz with their beach coves, cliffs, and beautiful rock formations, or the kilometer-long beach Mei-Preia.
In the center of Lagos you will find the nice, picturesque old town with numerous restaurants and shops.
The memorial-protected and redesigned market hall offers fruit, vegetables, and fresh fish, has a terrace with a magnificent view, and is well worth a visit.
The long promenade and the marina invite you to stroll.
A trip to Sagres, "the end of the world", and the wonderful rocky beaches are only 20 to 30 minutes away.
