Villa Fillmare - House 1

On the 37000m² large, naturally overgrown property, of which about 6000m² is park-like and secluded, there are two completely independent and well-equipped apartments, each holding enough space for four people. These apartments can be rented separately or together. They are cozy, fully furnished, and have a variety of amenities (including satellite TV, dishwasher, wireless, bluetooth radio receiver, etc.)
A large pool (11m x 5m), as well as a beautifully landscaped and spacious lounge area with shady palm trees are available to guests.

In regard to 1)
The detailed landscape, completely private, spacious terraces, and wonderful pool area located a large distance away from the apartments, allow all guests to experience an undisturbed and peaceful rest.

In regard to (2)
Various activities are offered.
The spacious pool is suitable for swimmers and of course for cooling off.
The recently-added small sports field and playground with artificial turf can be used for football, volleyball, badminton, boul etc. In addition, its location is so far from the apartments that noise pollution will not bother the residents.
Joggers can make their rounds from the property, past the vineyards.
A popular and signposted trail leads not far from the property.

In regard to 3)
For nature lovers the Villa Fillmare offers a special refuge.
In spring (ideal for hiking) various wild orchids bloom on the property.

The Villa Fillmare is quietly located in the backcountry (from Lagos it is about 5km), but just this area consists of many attractions in the Algarve. These include Lagos, Silves, Sagres, a variety of beautiful beaches on the south coast, unique rock formations, and even (in high season) barely hidden beaches on the west coast.

Location

Villa Fillmare is located in western Algarve between the popular holiday resorts of Luz and Lagos. The two very well-equipped apartments are located on a 37000m² plot, in a beautiful, park-like garden with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Approx. 2500m² of the property is a garden containing an assortment of beautiful trees, including , eucalyptus, fig, almond, and olive trees, as well as a lot of flowers. This garden has a special charm.

There is a very little grocery store/supermarket nearby (approx. 1.5km) where you can buy bread and rolls every day.
The next restaurant and grocery store are located in Portelas, which is about 2-3 minutes away by car or in also Lagos.

Everybody who is interested in physical activity has a lot of possibilities in Lagos or Luz: tennis, golf, diving, surfing, …
A lot of cultural sights are also nearby.

In only about 6-10 minutes by car you can reach the popular beach resorts of Lagos or Luz with their beach coves, cliffs, and beautiful rock formations, or the kilometer-long beach Mei-Preia.
In the center of Lagos you will find the nice, picturesque old town with numerous restaurants and shops.
The memorial-protected and redesigned market hall offers fruit, vegetables, and fresh fish, has a terrace with a magnificent view, and is well worth a visit.
The long promenade and the marina invite you to stroll.

A trip to Sagres, "the end of the world", and the wonderful rocky beaches are only 20 to 30 minutes away.
